Okay, let me put it this way: Is fag.us worth more than $1000, end user?

I think it's worth more than $1000. It's not just 3 random letters, it's a 3 letter name, worth it.

It couldn't be used for a serious business or anything worth too much money since the name itself wouldn't exactly be socially acceptable as a business name, so that limits your market, and your price right there.

It's a catch 22: a dictionary domain but also a derogatory term.

Who would want to say: "Hi, I'm [email protected] - nice to meet you." :-D

"Queer" was also a derogatory term before the hit television shows Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and Queer Is Folk.

I think what Radistar is trying to say is that it's not a name that most people would want to be associated with. I know I wouldn't want that email address lol! Being that the term "fag" is a derogatory term towards gays, a gay person probably wouldn't want it. I could see it as a hate site maybe, but what hate site is going to pay a lot of money for their domain? It's going to be a tricky one to get rid of that's for sure.

Nah. It's actually used plenty in the gay community. I hear gay guys refer to other gay guys as "fag" all the time. Only hetero's and lesbians seem uncomfortable with the term. Gay guys are totally okay with it.

But that means it's okay to only a relatively small part of the population. So uses include selling cigarettes in England (fag = cigarette in the UK), or a gay male site (not necessarily porn). Both are lucrative markets.

I'd let it go for $1000.

If it's Nigga.biz does that make it different? :-D

If I had to choose between fag.us and gay.us I'd choose the latter. You can market the latter; you can't do that with the former.

I agree fag.us isnt the most professional domain on the market, but you could probably get $600-$800 for it.
