FAKe TM registrations under inregistry ?

It has come to my notice that there are around 1000-1500 fake registrations of premium high value .in domain names that are registered under fake trademark!

Some of the domains I have noticed to be under fake TM's are

airlines.in
airline.in Trademark Number:191104
movies.in
movie.in Trademark Number:546562
airport.in Trademark Number:554084
airports.in

For instance HOME.IN has whois as below,

Madanlal Sachdev
14/23, Gur Ki Mandi
Agra, Uttar Pradesh

When contacted this party says he has no Idea of what a domain name is!
I recieved this information few days back now whois shows:

This tells us that there is some TRUTH in this as Directi suspended these domains.

Why I am posting this here on DNF is just out of concern as this really scares me away from buying/developing .in domains as someone might approach tomorrow and say that they have right to the domain!

hmm yes i wanted few of these names movie.in but they were all gone before under TM even before registration were open..

I think 1500 is less . These would be more TM fraud registered generic names.. If lot of people email to [email protected] i think they will have to investigate into this..

yes but the expiry data was 16-Feb-2007 .. why new renewal date did not come up.
