I think that 23 and me 'startup' if you could call it that is going to shine a bit more light on the subject.
Family is an easier to recall term then the correct term "Hereditary / Heredity".
I would say it is worth something, but given the current state of the industry a basic info page would be the way to go for the time being if you ask me.
Also this domain would only really be good for something such as an info page on specific diseases or traits, which in the future could be more valuable as people become aware.

Value: Not to much above regfee, but great potential in several years.
