Well, its not all fun and games - if this auction meets my reserve (I will post when/if the reserve is met) this great domain will be sold to the highest bidder.


Domain: Fast-Autos.com
Traffic: 1400 hits per day, 1000 uniques per day
Revenue: $300 per month with banner ads
History: Traffic has been stable at 1100 hits per day + for 9 months. When I Reg'd the name it was already getting 900 hits per day with absolutely no promotion.


Auction Specs.
This auction will end 3 days after the final bid is made. This auction can keep going for a year if people keep bidding. If 3 days go by with no bids - the auction is over.

I know some people are groaning over this, but the domain is a good one and my reserve price is lower than any price I have offered before.

I also realize I could be setting myself up for a lot of imbarassment if the bidding only goes to $20....but I am willing to take that risk.

ya, I have to put them back up. Let me explain......

I was using individual advertisers for a long time. Recently I tried Google's Adsense in only 4 places on the site. I made a couple bucks per day with a Click Through Rate of about 1%. This got me thinking....There are about 80 pages to put a banner on..... so if you multiply 4*15 = 60 (# of banners on the site) * $0.20 per banner per day = $12 per day via an ad program. I agreed with my advertisers I was doing this test.....I will put their banners back up shortly OR just put up another companies ads!
