As for development, here are some of the top terms searched for 'FAT' in overture (believe it or not there are a lot of x-rated terms, but I've taken them out). I'd probably stick to the stuff that deals with body fat, cooking, low fat, diet, recipes, etc.

best usage to provide info on different type of fat producing foods and how fat is stored in the body.

Not so sure if it's worth over $1500. It's pretty rude sounding. diet.info, slimming.info, something along these lines would be much more appropriate for the same purpose.

This is a nice name, yes. There is absolutely no way on earth a reseller would pay $1000 for it. I'm afraid the appraisals are too high. If you found a really motivated end user you might get mid x,xxx, but its a .info which is unlikely to attract the right type of business/person to pay high prices for it.
The best thing you can do is develop a really good informational site about fat, fatness what causes it, slimming, dieting etc. Loads of unique content + a few news feeds, forum etc, then promote it and laugh at the advertising revenue you can make! Good luck whatever you decide.

I guess its down to who buys.....reseller or end user..
I think its a domain for development.....(please feel free to pm me anybody if you know that you could recomend for development as above info)
