I just hand-registered these two. I figured that the .com would have been taken but was surprised to see the .org was available and I registered the .net for the heck of it.

FederalBailouts.org
FederalBailouts.net

Thoughts?

No stats - I just threw them up on Parked.com so I should see in a few days.

.org domains usually do better than .net domains when dealing with government / charitable domains, IMO.

The names themselves are not worth much as is. What you should do, is throw up a few pages, exaplaining how federal bailouts works, along with a few advertisements. You might be able to trigger some worthwhile ads

Agree , names themselves are worth little to nothing. Its what you do with it that could add value.

Thank you for the responses. I figured that this was the big thing now.

Maybe I'll set up a blog with how they work and post news stories about what companies are being bailed out. For now, though, it might need to go on the back burner.

The .com was taken and it looks like it is parked w/ Sedo.

Use the .org and point the .net to the .org
