I wanted some feedback on Domain terrain.

What do ya think.

It's in the .com Domainterrain.com

I was thinking it would be good for a site that wanted to appraise and list domains.

Or for an Australian site to register domains.

The rhyming is kind of catchy, but "terrain" is not a real common word, at least for sites.

Domain names about domain names are always kind of weird, because they have to be sold within this tiny little domain speculation market, but then because the people most likely to buy and sell obviously have an interest they tend to sell higher than I wold normally rate them.

That makes it really difficult to try to guess what someone would pay. I'd guess it wouldn't get any higher than $100, but then I've seen worse domain name-themed domain names go for ten times that. It's a crazy market sometimes.

I appriciate it cause i was thinking the terrian might be popular with countries where it's more commonly used.

This would give an entre to a market that might not otherwise be readily available.

I agree, especially with regard to "terrain". This word is a little awkward, spelling is not the easiest ... but the rhyming could make it brandable (with a lot of $$)! Well-named domain sites are a tough find ... you could have done a heck of a lot worse. Good Luck.

I think terrain is more commonly used in other parts. But I think the name is so ear catchy people would take the time to remember the spelling of it.

And when you think of the meaning it's domian country.

I figure people familiar with using terrain will visit a site and realise they are in domain country.

But maybe I over thought this one. I will just hope for the best, and I appriciate the feedback on this one.

I would have gone for Domain country but it's only available in the .net.

I am really a fan of the .com's

But I figure this was the next best thing.

But I guess all terrain vehicle is the more familiar term for this word.
