Site: sendscript.com

Established: October 2005 (34 months!)

Traffic: http://sendscript.com/webstat

Revenue: July - $210, August so far - $90

The site has been around for a while and sells scripts that allow customers to have their own file sharing and hosting site.

There have been 3 versions since October 2005, all custom-coded from scratch.

The most recent version is Commerce (and has made the prior 2 redundant, although the new owner has full ownership of the older versions too).

Commerce was launched last month as well as the site's new design. Before then it hadn't been updated for a while.

The latest script is php based (and also uses perl). It was custom coded by a programming freelancer, and then the design was produced by a designer and is valid XHTML 1.0 strict.

The same designer also did the design for the main site (and is again valid XHTML 1.0 strict) which was around $300.

The script has a lot of features which I will not go into detail about here, please visit the site for more info on the script itself. However it cost around $800 to be produced.

The script currently sells at $39.99, although the new owner may want to consider lowering it for more potential sales.

I'm sure the site can make a lot more than it currently is, I have already added the site to hotscripts.com as a premium listing, and scripts.com as well as a few other smaller sites but it could do with more promotion as I don't think it's currently earning to it's full potential.

The order system currently links to my own site, where a licence of iono is installed. The new owner can easily install the free version of iono onto the domain itself and do the same thing.

Although I am using iono for the order system, I have left the script un-encoded. It is up to you if want to encode the script from now on but I find it can prevent sales as people have to install decoding libraries on their servers to make the script work.

Min. offer: $1000

BIN: $2500

I'm happy to take any questions you might have,

Thanks
