I have been considering turning this into a file sharing resource portal -- just no time to develop it! Any thoughts on its worth -- just as a name without a developed site behind it?

Well it does seem to work for a File Sharing resource as you mentioned, not 100% sure of its worth prior to dev. sorry I couldnt be much help

It's worth more developed, but it would be an expensive site to run... you'd need a lot of bandwidth and storage space.

I think fileboy is much more appealing than binaryboy. However, as you all know, a name is only worth what someone is willing to pay. Your feedback gives me the indication that it may not be worth anything to anybody but me. I like it and I think I'll keep it and develop it (someday!).
