not that i know of, where did you hear this? google refferals will be closing though at the end of this month but google affiliate will take its place.

hi, not seeing the expiration of the contract in that link. also thats when google pays mozilla for using google as main search engine in mozilla browser, not for the refferal deal they have going.

I think the contract between Google and Mozilla is about the default search engine setting. Mozilla set Google the default search engine, and Google pay $$$ for it.

Also, Google's official blog say that Google is developing a new web browser 'Chrome'.
