Hi folks,

I just got my hands on firewall.me.uk, domain only, no traffic on it (yet, anyway). How much do you think it's honestly worth? firewall.* is very rare to find nowadays I see, and this one has a nice sound to it... Firewall Me UK is very easy to remember I reckon.

as far as i'm concerned the only value in .me.uk domains is the nominet documentation's value as emergency toilet paper.

UK domains are a rather special breed. Among other things, a lot of the admin is paper based. For example, every time you register a domain you get a letter from the registry, nominet. To transfer (including push) domains you have to fill in paper forms and pay a fee (larger than the original reg fee), etc.

Ah, this is interesting... I just regged the domain so didn't get the paper trail yet, thanks for explaining!

How hard is it to change the owner?

it's not so difficult. just takes a while. you just have to contact them for a form, get it all processed and pay them $24.

Ah, that's still decent, thanks for the explanation :)

By the way, it just got evaluated, has a 729 score and a premium domain seal... Does it raise the price any?
