Have any of you a email template for a first contact when you try to sell a domain. A nice letter informing the other part that you own domainname.com and you want to sell it....

[email protected]

Are you referring to an unsolicited email to an entity that may be interested, or an email in response to a domain name inquiry?

Is it a good thing to give the price in the first email?

If you are sending unsolicited email, it is wise to make sure the person you are contacting responds and is not hostile before you mention price.

This is my template that I DO NOT use very much, because my results have been less than wonderful... Maybe my letter sux?

Hello,

Would you please forward this to the person responsible for your domain names...

We are not going to develop xxxxxx.com and wanted to know if you would be interested in having it at a reasonable price?

I apologize for this unsolicited email. It is a one-time mailing.

Sincerely, you
EMAIL address
