The ICANN auction for .Tech was held last month with the winning bid of $6,760,000 being placed by dot Tech LLC.

Very interesting.. now gTLDs are being bought and sold just like 2nd level domains have been for the past 20 years.

Not according to the article. It says that Radix either bought it post or pre-auction.
