Hope For Homeowners:
This is a huge subject right now. The federal government is helping consumers through the mortgage crisis by working with banks to convert their ARM (and other types of loans that were given out in recent years) To Fixed APR Loan
And aside from the federal government, just about anyone who has gotten into an ARM, baloon payment, reverse mortgage etc while interest rates have been low wants to get into a Fixed APR so they don't get killed on monthly payments when interest rates go up. With a Democrat controlled congress and Democrat President, interest rates are going up. It's now or never for most people.
