Have not had much time to develope into full site , I have a few pages on the site to keep it in Google . Ranks on page 3 so far. Most of the traffic comes from type-ins --

best case scenario:

Park using yahoo/ovt ads, use "flash intro" as your keywords, lets say a low ctr of 10% (because KW is slightly off topic) with 3000 uniques that would be 300 x $10= $3000 a month. Even 5% CTR could produce $1500 a month. Of course real click price would be somewhere around $.80 each as the next bid is only $.79. But the Highest bid is $10, if any other companies want to advertise at the top they will have to pay and then before you know it the top three clicks wil be worth above ten dollars.

A more realistic scenario would be just to park it/ simple site with ads everywhere with the keywords Flash website or Flash Template, 3000 uniques with 37.5% CTR = 1125 clicks per month x $.40 per click = $450 monthly. My guess is you could easily ask 4-6 years parking revenue for such a great oppertunity= $21,600-$32,400.

You also have to factor in a few things, the sale of Templates.com= $450,000 9/12/06, and the pure business potential of this name.

I would say it is worth about $20,000 to $50,000 to an end user.

Just curious, but on a name of this quality I think ovt with ext is not as relevant. Do you think Templates.com was bought for $450,000 because it has ovt with ext of 255?.... i don't think so. The fact that it has no ovt with ext does not hurt it, the name has no real useable content yet thus no one is looking for it. If it offered some real content there would be ovt with ext. I am not saying ovt with ext is worthless, it can be important, but not necessary for a name to be great.

This is a great name.

If you develop it properly you can eventually fetch mid xx,xxx for it. Undeveloped it's still an attractive name, although since it's not exactly popular someone wanting to purchase it will look at that factor. If you have the money to hire a flash designer/developer - it would be a worthwhile investment and will definitely increase the value over time.

I would not park it. If you have not the time or money to complete develope it; I would just create some more pages with nice texts SEO oriented, plenty of rich keywords and would include Adsense and a good template affiliates programm. If you park it, perhaps you can earn some big money but the traffic may gradually decrease... I think you'll loose search engines visits and park clicks are less value than your own adsense.

It's just an opinion.

Parking can earn you some revenue but would'nt do well in the search engines. You can start by making into a content rich site, cover as much range as you can, place some ppc ads on it and your off to the races. A nice ppc template can be done and should get you a decent revenue.

As for Value for the domain alone, I would have to say high x,xxx to low xx,xxx for a ppc developer if the traffic you state is accurate and the bidding price per click is fair. There's always been alot of interest in flash tutorials, "Tutorials for Dummies" is probably a good bet. As well as that, selling Flash Templates would be ideal, You can stock plenty of templates with resell rights, have a little payment gateway on your site, sell a few on ebay like so many already do, try and sneak the domain into your sales page as well.
