I got what appears to be a serious letter for an attorney who has a client who wants to buy this name - any suggestions as to what price to put on the name Flingit.com?

thanks - I was in the low xx,xxx range - others have been in the mid-xx,xxx range - I like the 'make me an offer' idea - what about "I am open to negotiating an offer that is at least 5 figures." or something along those lines?

I wouldn't mention any figures, i'd say exactly what scrsteven mentioned.

However what makes the name to be worth low-mid xx,xxx? I really don't get it, Google said Flings means fake jewelery, a brief relationship and to flick or throw something so Flingit doesn't make sense to me.

Agreed with Steven, if they sound serious let them make the first offer.

I think mid 5 figues like someone suggest is not really realistic on a real value basis. I am not saying there is no chance, but thats the kind of name you will not frequently get an offer for. You could try going for the jackpot here and ask for a lot, but the chance is rather low, if you are not upset about losing 2-4k..thats fine, but if you are not having a lot of sales and you would really like some cash, dont get too unrealistic on what you think you can get for it. To a reseller this is maybe a mid $$$ name IMO, for me personally even less, so if you think you can get 100 times reseller value thats a lot.
