Gerry, here's an example of a "developed" web site sold at Flippa for $20,000.
OMG!!!! Everyone's Dream!!!! Finding someone that has more money than sense.

Seriously, that is a horrific name.

Wow. Theres a dream that has 'truth'.

OK, I shoulda stopped at 'dream'.

I sold few domains on Flippa and now it's not even worth listing there anymore. It's like they're encouraging TM squatters to list their names so generic domain sellers will pay premium to keep bumping the sale to the front page.

Go through the sale history from 6months or more older and check the links and you'll see if the buyer was scammed. Domains are just being used as redirects now. Even the biggest website sale they had "Retweet.com" is forwarding to a different site.

i'm not a flippa

Yesterday I had a look at the auctions at Flippa, then I immediately switched to Bido and I found it was pretty good in comparison :P

Agree Don, I am also not a flipper of names and never was.

Flippa.com is not a good domain for them as it implies only flipped names and websites are being sold. They need to change their URL, imo.
