I've had this domain for over a couple of years but have never developed it. It is a strange extension (Indian Ocean Territories) but is short and punchy.

FOL.IO
PORT.FOL.IO

I get quite a few offers for it but recently I got one which was enough to get my attention. It also made me wonder if it was more valuable than I originally thought. Any thoughts? A ballpark figure would be useful.

Well... I dunno... I got unidos.info, and I thought that subdomain estados.unidos.info would be VERY attractive, but it hasn't had much interest.

Given that this hack is not a common TLD, that renewal rates must be higher and that the dots CUT the word in an unnatural manner, I'd say ZERO.

I see your point. In that case, I'd probably be best advised to take the current offer. That said, there's a difference between fol.io and unidos.info, just in terms of length and sightliness (if that's a word).

Thanks for the advice!

Not bad :)

Can't value it, but it makes sense, I'd would like to own it.

So it looks like there is a divergence of opinion on its value. It's clearly worth more than zero otherwise I wouldn't have had any interest at all.

It must be one of those names that has intrinsic PR value rather than ticking the boxes of a standard appraisal. There can't be that many three letter names that, with the extension, spell something marketable, I guess. FOL.IO and the subdomain PORT.FOL.IO are very memorable.

Thanks for weighing in owntag. You've made me reconsider. Hit me up with a PM if you'd really like to own it
