Its been a long time coming, but I've finally decided to sell my webstore. I developed this site from scratch (with the assistance of my webmaster) in 2005. This is no cookie cutter site; its custom all the way. We put our hearts and souls into every single page....
My customers have included New Age, Environmental, Green, Natural, Artisitc, Socially Conscious type of folks. Due to other committments, I've done almost no advertising in the past year, yet it gets consistent, humble traffic. I do believe that with some effort, it could garner increased traffic quickly. I was self-taught when I developed the site, so its not like I knew what I was doing to bring it this far! It was random luck, but yet, the cachement of my customer base is a huge new movement of conscientious shoppers.
I have never used the site for passive income, but strictly retail sales. It could easily be optimized with passive click-through's , etc.
Google page rank is 3. When you enter the phrase "Follow Your Bliss," in Google, we appear on page 1. The philosophy of "Follow Your Bliss" is a VERY well known quote by the late Joseph Campbell. Don't take my word for it....look it up and see for yourself. I'm very pleased that the site appears just under his nonprofit .org!:approve: Of course, "Follow Your Bliss Store" also appears on Google page 1.:smilewinkgrin:
The site has a blog area attached with is actually a GoDaddy blog that I linked onto the site. Buyer's choice as to weather to continue that or let it go. The actual website is hosted with my Webmaster in Florida. He's been so helpful and patient with my artistic requests! You could keep the site with him or move it. I have an AWSTATS page that I can show interested parties the statistics upon request. The sale of the site could be with or without inventory...that's negotiable. I will sell remaining inventory at my cost, plus shipping. Buyer will also receive my customer list, which is like automatic sales if you just send them an promo email. The shopping cart on the site is through Paypal Pro.
So, I'll entertain questions and offers. Let me know what YOU need to know and I'll do my best to dig it out of my stats.
