football-forum.com
sport-forums.com

i was achally planning on making sport-forums.com into a profitable site, but if the domain is worth anything i wont bother:d

Both domains are "fair" but as site and forums they rock!

altavista.com sucks.

Dont base your development on the value of a domain.

If it fits your market and is memorable enough, use it.

I meant, as a domain name, altavista.com sucks.

They developed (and promoted it) it well.

welcome to the domain business :)

in general, assume that 99% of domains out there are valueless without development and you'll be off to a good start

The domains alone arent very good. But there is potential.

thats the spirit - I think the names are really nice actually....I have fantasysportsforum.com - I think....somewhere........there is certainly a merket for sports communities, and the football one is great...cause you can make an English Football section and then an American (NFL) football section for people accross the Atlantic!

Put it another way, the domains will be 100 times
more valuable in 2 years IF the forums kick off :) only
with those 10,000 visitors a day, (which is very common
even for a barbeque forum). I see the layout, sport-forumS
and football-forum, only really salable as a potential
community with a few other sports and sport-forums as the
jump screen.

The reason for me doing this is because at the moment there arn't alot of members.
Im sure alot of people would not join a forum that dosn't have a good member base.
