Hello,

I have a forum that is a PR3 and has around 900-1,000 people visit the site every day. It's a forum and there are only around 5-10 posts per day. I make very little money from the site. It has over 50,000 back links in Google. My question is I have an offer of $400 to sell the site. I'm trying to decide on if I want to keep it and try to generate some income from the traffic, or sell it to get the cash for it. I paid around $250 for the site.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you keep the domain, you have some work to do to make it successful. Off the top of my head, I'd say you would have to redesign change content, improve ad placing, maybe change what ads you show (adsense vs affiliate links). If you have the time to do all this, then do it. It could pay off over the course of the next year.

If you don't have the time, then sell. However, I wouldn't sell that site for $400. I wouldn't sell for under $1.5k - it sounds like it has great potential. The buyer will know that.

I assume you know the site!

Yes I do ;).

I personally wouldn't sell it for less than $1500 (even though the name isn't too good). If it was mine, I'd do a major overhaul of the design and ads.
