2 - I regged some at domainsite.com , can I reg them elsewhere? Who are they connected to so I don't get billed or break any rules etc.

I performed searches and ended up with nothing. I only found sites that require cc.

Try the french registrar Indomco at www.indom.com. The site's in French but there's an English version coming by December.

They do free infos and don't require a cc.

Thats what I was wanting to know too. Most registrars have stopped the offers but there are a couple who are continuing to offer free .infos

yes, the absolute date is the end of the year, but many registrars have taken advantage of this in the begining to draw attention and now offer them at discounted prices instead of free.

There are 2 or 3 exceptions which still offer them for free, but I doubt it will be for long.

Catch as much as you can.
