Though doubles of numbers are easy to remember, they do require more keypresses than numbers that alternate. So for instance 1313 is easier to type than 1331 or 3113.

In the same way 131 is better than 311 or 331.

My RAZR already has predictive input on its browser, but it doesnt predict extensions. Alot easier than a .mobi key and the bare minimum would be it predicting .mobi for instance, if you type domain.m

Then to add a .mobi extension to a domain, its only three key presses. 1, 6, <right arrow>.

I'm used to the T9 thing now, i dont think it's too much of a problem, but one other function my phone has it learns new words you tend to use, now since i've been checking out .mobi sites it automatically comes up with .mobi at the end of the address as soon as i put .m into the browser. So i'm quite happy with the way it's going at the moment, it's just a pain when it learns words you rarely use as it brings them up for ages until it forgets them again!!!

I agree with those who think number have a future. The mobile internet is a new venture and I think things will develop a bit differently.
Numbers are a natural for phones; people are accustomed to using numbers on a phone.

I am quite happy with the long term potential of my 1234.mobi and 4321.mobi.
