I'm considering selling the domain name Games.org. Feel free to email me offers at George [at] LOFFS (dot) com.

Highest offer to date has been $150K (via email months ago, and from Sedo recently), so no lowballs please. Games.org might be the single most valuable .org domain name in existence. Games.com is rumoured to have sold for more than $10 million. Juegos.com ("games" in Spanish) is also rumoured to have sold for 8-figures.

Can a .org compete? Check out the rankings on Alexa.com or Compete.com or Quantcast.com for domains such as Pussy.org or DMV.org to see what is possible when a little bit of content is added to top .org domain names.

In December 2006, date.org was reported to have sold for $150,349 through SnapNames.com (search Google for "date.org Snapnames" without the quotes). Obviously, Games.org would be far more desirable and valuable than Date.org.

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers, the global gaming market will approach $50 BILLION by 2011 (see http://biz.gamedaily.com/industry/feature/?id=16589 for details). MTV alone intends to invest $500 million over the next 2 years in games (see http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUKN1632817420070816?rpc=44&pageNumber=1 for details).

On Hitfarm, from April 1, 2007 to July 31, 2007 (4 months), the games.org domain had 26,197 unique visitors. With a creation date (check the WHOIS) of January 1, 1996, the advantages for SEO purposes when developed are clear.
