Starting on 10 February 2020 the .gay domains will become available for registration.
Sunrise period starts on 10 February 2020. There will be 2 phases at the Sunrise period.
Sunrise Period I
Sunrise Period I domain registrations are available to trademark owners who have their trademarks registered with the Trademark Clearinghouse. Sunrise Period I will close on 31 March 2020.
Sunrise Period II
Sunrise Period II starts on 6 April 2020. All trademark owners can apply for domain registrations.
A trademark registration with the Trademark Clearingshouse is not necessary at this phase.
General Availability
General Availability will start on 20 May 2020.
