I appraise any 4 letters dot com by google results as follows:

The value listed here is the minimum value

10,000 google results ========= 10$

100,000 google results ========= 100$

1,000,000 google results ========= 1,000$

10,000,000 google results ========= 10,000$

100,000,000 google results ========= 100,000$ ( 100k $):-D

I know there will be exceptions but this is my general evaluation and my experience

I would like to hear people who agrees and others who reject this magic formula:party:

I love formulas and stats

cheers!

i guess you can say that

"2,980,000,000 for free" making free.com a 300 million dollar domain? one of them exceptions you were talking bout.

cars brings up 287,000,000 making it $2.87 million which i think is pretty accurate

bank.com
food.com
Home runs but I would think there are alot of exceptions to those rules. companies stock symbols and if it just happens to be the first letters of there business name like HSBC the bank lol I was there today so I was thinking wish I owned the .com on one hand they could be generic on the other who knows MSFT ??? What do others think I would like to know also.

No such thing. All comes down to what the person is willing to spend. There are way to many exceptions.

sorry there was a mistake and I corrected ( only one zero ..lol )

free.com would be 2.98 million
cars.com would be 287,000$

also

bank.com would be 371,000$
food.com would be 706,000$

as I said it is a minimum value.... that mean you shouldn't sell your name for less than that...but of course it may worth more
