If any of you here using SEDO can share with us what are your earnings CPM, that'll really help me and some others. You may state your industry and the no. of total names parked.

And can SEDO give us their network wide CPM$//EPC earned by their parked domains ?

Not a particular catgory, just general-mix.

With approx 150 movie industry names, I earned $1.25 in the last 3 days of June.

Think I'll go buy a soft drink d:-)

Maybe it's just a stupid question but if you're smart enough to buy 150 (good?) names why would you use a 3rd party to sell your traffic?
All you have to do is signup for aha or whatever searchengine and redirect yourself, place the search result in a frame and put on the right side that your domain is for sale..
my 2 cnts.

Maybe it's another stupid question, but are those 150 names really bringing in 'traffic' ? Is so, those earnings are, to put it simply, downright pathetic....

I'm always looking for more traffic, and can't afford buying out names/sites...
Renting someone's traffic traditionally is not easy, cause after a day the site/domain owner, directly goes to my advertiser - lol.

Any system around this?
Thanks,
RR

Domains are not my business, just a hobby and an escape. Between work and family, I am lucky if I have time to breathe sometimes.

When I do sell domains, I have done very, very well with them. But mostly I am buying and acquiring right now, and not too interested in investing the time and energy in managing sales myself.

I don't buy domains for traffic - I buy for resale potential in my industry. Any revenue that comes from this willl be incidental. I agree, it's not much and so far probably not worthwhile without improvement. But on the other hand possesion is 9/10 of the law, and I have no desire to move them any time soon.

Yes, I thought so from memory, that you were into getting good names to sell them. Therefore there would not be much traffic on them. Revenue from Sedo is completely negligible for you : )
Am sure you do well selling them when it's possible.
Thanks !

loan/casino related domain has higher ppc than others

Thanks lilian,

That we sort of know ; ) but yes, if you can average out the total & give us a general CPM earning, that'll be great (assuming you have various names, not just loan/casino).

About $17 per 1,000 views: games, travel, real estate mostly. 150 domains
10 cents/click average.

Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot yanni,

But I've not understood those stats.
If you have $17 CPM ie: make $17 per 1000 views, wouldn't that be like 1.7 cents per click?
Or by 'view' you meant impressions & therefore that would mean you get approx. a 17% CTR ?

Thank you anyways !

Not everyone clicks
1000 is visitors

Aha...
Thanks there stuff...

$25 CPM i.e. for every 1,000 visitors to my parked domains I made $25. Looks like an excellent figure to me!

Great figure. And with the aount of names you have, you'll be brinigng in a decent sum per day Edwin : )

$10 CPM...for my parked domains. Entertainment and Sports Domains. Not too bad

Definitely not too bad : )
Keep it up .....
