I'm aware this was a market that got picked up on in the 1990's, so I know I'm entering a sector of domaining which has some very established players.

Basically, I'm interested in dabbling in traffic names, and would appreciate any and all advice for getting started.

I'm a total noob to the topic. How do I find names with traffic? What's the best way to monetize traffic once the name is in my hands? What are some things to look out for?

Again, any and all advice would be much appreciated.

buy from those who have a history of dealing in traffic domains

get screenshots and or request a test on your server

don't buy names that don't make sense, even if they have traffic

meaning you gotta ask yourself or the seller, why does this domain get traffic...if it isn't obvious.

look at ctr and epc, you want both to be high, but you have to understand which is more important when it comes to sacrificing for one or the other.

stay away from link traffic

ask somebody you can trust before you spend, if still unsure
