VeriSign, (the administrator of the .com and .net TLDs) has released their latest quarterly Domain Name Industry Brief (DNIB) covering the the 1st quarter of 2025. This update showed that the total number of domain registrations across all TLDs worldwide ended the most recent quarter at 368.4 million. That is up 6.1 million registrations year over year representing a 1.7% increase. However, there were both winners and losers in that massive universe of domains.
