I can see it been used for a global warming site. I personally like the name and think its worth at least mid-high xx. But the problem with the name is that it sounds too panicky. No serious company or organization could use it without a certain level of scrutiny. One I hear "Global Extinction" I think of a chicken little society screaming, "The sky is falling"!
I actually think the .org would be a more suitable extension, which by the way is still open for hand reg.

thanks for your thoughts, thats along the lines i was thinking, although i plan on developing something. Which is why i just secured the .org, thanks for that. I was going to make the site more about plants and animals that are facing global extinction.
