All depends on how long they've had the domain. The MySpace.co.uk domain ruling (couchReverseHijackingcough) was overturned.

I think there was a legal battle regarding this domain, with the owners of gmail.co.uk initiating legal proceedings if I remember correctly.

My guess would be that Google handed over a big wad of cash for the domain.
