The reason I've "defended" gmail is because I see so much trolling online. Not necessarily here, but people like to pick fights. And I did come to gmail's defense last time because I was pissed off when someone took it upon himself to contact a supposed buyer on eBay regarding a transaction they had supposedly gone through with gmail... without ever asking gmail about it.
Well, why don't you buy it for me? In case you didn't read the entire statement, I was saying I'd take it in response to Matrix's comment,
i wouldnt take this site if you paid me with all the bad rep it has.
You posted support for Gmail in his last thread. What are your intentions here? Maybe you both are partners?? Please let us understand.
I posted support for someone who was being trashed. I don't ever recommending the purchase to anyone.
To summarize... from what I've seen on DNForum, the mods and admins have been pretty capable of handling these situations. Yes, regular users should provide relevant information if useful. But I don't think it's necessary for everybody to jump on the bandwagon. With regards to the purchase, I'd hope none of you would purchase a website where statements are made but no proof is shown.
Is your phone +1.2345678790? Must be easy to remember... Oh, I really like your fax 1.5555555555
Oh, and with regards to this... I don't see this as good evidence of a "scam". There is no way in heck, I'm ever putting my real phone number in the whois information.
Oh, and it's not you, labrocca.. it's your avatar. ;-)
