It is not possible for a single reseller.
I am thinking about a site where WWD resellers can join for a legal case.
These actions from GoDaddy should not be tolerated anymore!
Obviously, there is a shift in GoDaddy's policy against their own resellers.

www.bigclassaction.com you can go there and submit a complaint and if they think its worth their time they will contact you for more info.

But didn't GoDaddy sue verisign in the past for doing something similar?

The difference is that VeriSign (now separated somewhat from NetSol) sent
solicitations to their direct competitor. Note that WWD was once a reseller for
GD and are now striking on their own, somewhat.

However, I'm sure WWD still has certain "contractual obligations" to GD, thus
the GD solicitations.

Has Bob Parsons' success gone to his head?

Why don't you start a boycott of all GoDaddy services? You've all got customer lists, websites, etc. etc. Find a better registrar and put GoDaddy's brand on the line. Let GoDaddy know if they put you out to pasture it comes at a price they can't afford.

Well my sites news gets posted often on news.google.com so if anyone wants I guess I can write an article on this and give godaddy some bad press. But I wouldn't know where to start I'm not a WWD reseller and didn't see any of the emails.

Well, I'll need some time to think about it. It is quite clear things can not go the old way. GoDaddy declared war against their own resellers and they should find a proper response.

Probably won't help you to know there is a $4.95 .US
and $1.00 .INFO code as well for this month.

I saw the links above, but they seem to reflect the regular pricing. Is there a "code" that you input, or what else do you mean by code? I'd like to purchase a few blocks of names at those prices in your post. Anyone else know of unlimited $1 info regs now? I know about the 25 free.

The .US deal expired

i have just recently become a wwd reseller and am discusted by their unfair practices and reseller cost prices...not to mention these illegal actions they have taken that have been mentioned in this thread.... i was initially thinking of moving most of my 600 or so domains in my wwd account, but am seriously reconsidering this now....

btw, how much does it cost to become a registrar?

Not counting staff, you could probably do it for $75,000-$100,000

I read that GoDaddy has signed up for a television commercial to be aired during the Superbowl. For 2.4 million bucks, I wonder what they will be selling?

Have you heard something about ENUM services? This is the next generation of Internet+Telephone services. They intend to become major players in that new IT revolution. They have created a consortium with the major phone companies aready! It is a very long distance shot. They simply do not care about their affiliate business anymore.

I already have staff, servers and dedicated fast reliable connections....at 75 000$-100 000$, is that just for the right to be a registrar or did u include other stuff in there?
