Good evening all,

I am new to this, getting my feet wet and reading DNForum all the time. I registered a few names last night with GoDaddy. I am waiting for SmartNames to approve my account. I go look up the sites in case SmartNames went ahead and set up the site, and I see that GoDaddy has set up their own ppc site. Keep in mind, these sites are not yet parked in the cash parking program with GoDaddy. So my question is, who is making money on my site?

Thanks all!

When you register domains with GoDaddy they default to GoDaddy's own parked pages. They receive the money from any clicks.

Yep! They make the money on them so if you want to realize any $ from parking you need to switch them to someplace like sedo or somewhere else.

It would be a good idea to change your default DNS for future registrations.
You can park at Sedo for example.
I woulnd't bother with paid godaddy parking either... parking is free everywhere else you know. And it's likely your traffic revenue will not make up for the parking fees :cheeky:
