GoDaddy Domain Discount Club Note (get it free)

Hi Guys;

I'd been tempted by the domain discount club for months; due to the high volume of domains I buy; but worked out that I'd need to buy 600 net's and orgs just to cover the cost of joining.

That was until yesterday. $380 basket of 12 coms and the rest net's and orgs - due to the recent price hike in nets and orgs ($13 each) it meant that I could do the following:

Empty Basket
Buy Domain Discount Club (with chill1 promo code, thus $80)
Refill basket with domains, new total $250!
Total for Discount Club + all domains: $330 - ($50 saving + free dicount club)

So in other words; if you get a basket at godaddy with $360 or more worth of (net/org)domains; buy the Domain Discount Club first; in effect get it free and get $30 at least off. Free cheap domains!

see I don't know what high volume is; I've spent $10k on normal reg's in the last 30 days - I phoned thm last week about pricing and was basically just rushed off the phone; quite annoyed me to be honest

standard promo codes used; chill3 for 6.95 .com's [covers about 80% of reg's I do] and 10% of everything else with chill1 promo code.

You spent $10,000 on hand registering domains?

Also, I think you should have gone with the reseller plan, I think it is the same price (or close) and offers you the same discounts as the discount club.

Yep, I'm afraid so; it would seem that all the good .com's aren't gone; if you check enough on mass they're easy enough to find.

re reseller plan; cheers; concidered but probably best just sticking by the book - talking to a rep at moniker so may swap; but to be honest the av. $7 at godaddy suits me fine now; emans I get 100% roi at minimum.
