I just confirmed with their tech staff that you can no longer use email or a support ticket system to communicate with Godaddy.

Your only choice is to navigate their voicemail system, or wait in the queue for a "chat session", but even that is available certain hours of the day. But it's still called "24/7 support". I'm not joking.

Same here. But people have been complaining forever about GD, what does it take for them to take their business elsewhere ?

for real, no email or support tickets???
that has to be temporary...

it is for real and it is not temporary i think- you will be told to go on chat or call. don't understand why they didn't do away with phone support which is bad and keep the ticket email support which would save gd money.
chat is not available 24-7 and phone reps know absolutely nothing.

It permanent... although I have had good luck with the reps knowing what they're doing lately. If you want to catch domains dropping from Godaddy systems or in their auctions then you have no choice but to deal with them.
