Godaddy Signature Auction - Deadline today

Status
Not open for further replies.
I submitted two domains early.

what's that? I must have missed it...

Thanks Raider, just submitted 20 domains. :)

What are the terms of this auction, GD's cut etc?

Thanks Raider! Looking into it :)

Any idea where to find details? Like godaddy's %, tos/rules?

What's "asking price" - is it your reserve, or bin?

I didn't find any details or info about GoDaddy's %

All what i can see :

If you have a domain you feel is worth $10,000 or more, put it up for auction and then put some cash in your pocket!

Domain Submission Deadline: October 19
Domain Auction List Publish: October 24
Live Auction Dates: November 6, 7, 8

I think it says that if your domain is selected, someone will contact you. The commission might be negotiable....

I need no surprises. That Bob Parsons bloke is all about earrings, hot wheels and - almost - hot chicks.

Commission is 12%.
Plus - exclusivity ends 11/8 - unlike Moniker where they keep your domain tied up for a month or two after the auction.

Thanks for the info Chappy!
I've submitted a few domains, will wait for them to call I guess :)

When you think about it - Godaddy have probably the biggest customer base of potential domain enthusiasts and investors compared to other domain companies, if they do it right the auctions can be very successful.

I submitted today and got an email from them pretty soon afterwards.

I think it's closed now however.

Where did you find this info Chappy?

At 12% commission, it's still a bargain. I'd like to know who pays the escrow.com fee, hopefully it's included but I doubt it, most likely a 50/50 split....Godaddy should really post the TOS, Like all of you I can find anything.

Been out all day, sorry I didn't reply to some of your questions earlier.

Seller has to pay escrow fee but that would only be $200 at Escrow.com.
