Has anyone had any decent success with godaddy's backordering service?

My backorders always tend to lead to "Backorder attempt failed"

Its really starting to get frustrating...

Any comments or suggestions?
Thanks,
Andrew Shaw

A long time ago native.com and I believe it was yuck.com or something was caught by GD backorder.

In general, they do not appear to be too successful.

been there and done it... was rather upset

Didnt know much about how backordering worked at the time.. learned a lesson.. you know with all the cash godaddy has you think they'd want the big names under thier belts.

I heard their backordering system was a joke.

I always hear that they have better success with .info/.us/.biz, but I don't remember seeing any actual success stories. If they were really that good with the .infos and .us' I don't think we'd see any of these high dollar sales on Dnjournal.

find a decent list of .info/.biz/.us names dropping tomorrow or the following day -- look them up once the drop is over and you will see at least 30% of em successfully captured by godaddy (wildwest, blue razor, godaddy)

:-) :-) :-)

You do not lose the money if they fail for the domain you are trying to capture. Even though they do not capture the domain you request, you don't lose the funds. It still remains in your GoDaddy backordering acct, you just simply change the request to a different domain until one is captured for you. Alot of people don't realize the credit remains in the backordering acct.

Yes, but in attempts to capture other domains in replace of the failed domains, they always seem to fail as well. Ive attempted to capture 8 domains in the past 2 weeks... All of which have failed.
