GoFlights.com

GoPlay.com sold for $17,300 - NameJet - August 08
GoPay.com sold for $15,000 - Afternic - January 08
GoFar.com sold for $13,000 - Afternic - February 08
GoDeal.com sold for $11,619 - Sedo - December 06
GoMo.com sold for $11,000 - Afternic - April 08
GoBrand.com sold for $10,164 - Sedo - February 08
GoFreelance.com sold for $10,000 - Sedo - January 07
GoYellow.com sold for $10,000 - Sedo - November 04

Over 56,000,000 google results for Go Flights. Extremely generic. Nice and short .com with a premium and strong commercial keyword.

This domain could easily be used for cheap travel tickets, travel agencies, airlines, booking discount flights, comparing airfares, helicopter tour prices, hot air balloons tours etc.

Kindly appraise.

Results 1 - 10 of about 9,640 for "go flights". (0.30 seconds)

Always use quotes around your search phrase.

$xxx reseller

probably take many years to find an end user, but you could mailout
to all the travel agencies and aim for $5K or so.

How did you find end users instantly?

I do a little research and locate the top 10 potential buyes for a particular domain. I then contact these prospective buyers by email and telephone. Negociating the price is the easy part.

Last week, I sold iPHOTOS.net. But I negociated from $400 (1st offer) up to $7,000. I stopped there. And before that: Ares.net ($21,500) - doing well with end users these days.

A particularly good sale, especially as I purchased this domain for only $121 about 8 weeks ago (...).

I know you don't want to give away all your secrets. But how would you find potential buyers for this domain? It doesn't seem very obvious to me how you can know who would be interested in starting up a stock photo website. Why would an existing stock photo site want a .net ???

What are your top 3?

.net is still a very good extension that is far behind .com but is a great commercial alternative. PLUS .net is a very nice extension for photo sharing/development sites (network...).

Yes, but finding potential buyers for a domain like this doesn't seem very obvious.

The very first operation I undergo, is typing "iphotos" into Google. The 1st 10 pages show, what I consider to be, at least 5-6 potential end users who COULD welcome the idea of owning a nice iPHOTOS website.

Remember, this domain is almost Photos.net - i domains have often sold for high prices as names beginning with “i” (internet, interactive, internet…) do not significantly affect value; a few key examples: iReport ($750,000), iPets ($75,000), iBanks ($38,000), ituns ($30,000), iWidgets ($35,000), iTelcom ($18,000), iArt ($16,694), iTravelmag ($15,010), iTeam ($10,650), iQuotes ($10,140), iReplay ($10,000)…

...especially as today’s most prominent “i” domains are predominantly connected with the computer and technology markets.

congrats, you're a good salesman,

GoFlights doesn't really hit it with me, but I guess Go is a good prefix for Flights
as they have similar meaning. Anyway I said $5K or so if you contact end users
so I wasn't far out.
