.net doesn't help value here. See how much the .com owner wants, and the .org owner. I'd try to accumulate the set before I developed this name - I don't think it would be too pricey to do.
As is, I don't think this is worth more than low to mid XX

I was thinking of developing GoldClaims.net for listing Gold Mining Claims since there is currently many different websites that advertise Gold Claims 'for sale' that could be easily accessed by one website!

GoldClaims.net could be a website to list Gold Claims for sale or trade throughout the world and even have a forum for discussions about where good Gold Claims were, the type(s) of gold and amounts found there and any potential problems like with access and other like type of issues.

Years ago, I hiked over two hours into a canyon without vehicle access to do some sluicing on a GPAA (Gold Prospectors Association of America) claim and set up my sluice and started sniping for some materials to run through my sluice. I had been seeing some old 'cow' tracks in the bottom of this really seep canyon and finally saw a 'fresh track' while trying to snipe a good looking place for some material. I had taken a .22 pistol with a 9 round clip and a couple of extra clips for protection. When I saw that 'fresh' REALLY BIG bear track - the biggest I had ever seen, I suddenly felt totally unprotected with my little lead flipper! My Uncle had, years earlier, hunted Elk in a canyon in a mountain range north and west of where I was at and had seen a bear kill and the huge bear tracks by it and had told me of the biggest black bear in the world (by skull measurements - at that time) that had been killed there, years earlier in that same canyon. I had seen a bunch of caves on the south facing wall of that steep canyon and thought that I was in a 'bear hotel' canyon! I found more platinum than gold in that canyon and later found out that there was an old platinum mine in the upper part of that same canyon.

I think that GoldClaims.net (the .com would definitely be better) could be a GREAT website for all things 'Gold Claims' Worldwide!

If I had more specific info of where the claim was and of the seasonal water and other 'claim specific' type info , I would have thought long and hard before hauling all that I did up there! I think a forum could have really helped with the info. I could have used for that GPAA claim. I do not know about GPAA stuff any more, it was about 18 years ago when I went up to that Claim and belonged to the GPAA.
