Appraisals aren't neccesarily what YOU would pay for a domain name Gamefinest but market value based on reseller and end user criterias, possible resell value, and use to the public amongst other things. A quick google search should have risen some alerts that perhaps this is a valuable name. What YOU would pay for it is irrelevant. You do an injustice to this forum if you base your appraisals solely on YOUR gut feelings or financial limits.

i like your impromptu vision, something that is needed in this industry.

upon purchasing this name i imagined this.
start any business! a casino, consulting firm, VC, restaurant, bar, gifts, antiques, collectible, etc, if in SF even better or asian themed would be good also.

invest a bit into the physical entrance of the establishment by placing some nice golden doors or even gates, then call your business GOLDENGATES.COM

like I said...high $$$ to low $$$$ ..and if you had multiple low $$$$ offers I think my appraisal in terms of reseller pricing is right on target....that doesnt mean it couldnt go higher than that.., it will take a good deal of work and luck to get that price you think its worth for an end user...

thats what I said...xxx to xxxx from resellers...I am sure you got 800 dollars offers as well as 1500 offers..., if you have a couple of people interested its usually the best thing (at least in the short run) to do a sedo auction and let all the privious people interested know about, nature has it that they will outbid each other..this way I think you could get a price that comes close to a real end user...good luck

all i said is don't be sure of something that you are not sure of on other peoples time. i gave you credit for being very close to target but you insisit you know more about my offers than I do?

I do however appreciate your comments on sending the domain to auction, this was helpful to me and i'm sure to others on DNF.
