Investors who are familiar with the conditions of the economy and stock market of the bubble days of the late 90's and 2000 are probably also familiar with the term "domain speculation." According to the AP, those days seem to be back in the domain world. Link to story...

Hmmmm, i dunno if i agree with what they are saying

all business, industries, and economies are cyclical. also given the fact that the amount of venture capital floating around right now is so high, just as it was in the late 90's, and the dow is so far up and everyone seems bullish, i've been wondering if there could be another type of "bubble" situation on the horizon.

any opinions? i'm not a market guru. and i think with economists opionions at any given time are like a$$-holes, everyone's got one a bit different than the others eh? what are your thoughts? and how closely do you see the domaining industry tied to the overall market/economy? how badly would a recession affect us? a depression?
