Google has added a Search Console setting that lets a site stay in normal Search but stay out of AI Overviews and AI Mode.

For a content site or developed domain, would you keep the AI visibility or switch it off?

I'd keep it on.

All inbound requests for my marketing consultancy ask about AI Search, AEO, GEO, etc. whatever you call it.

No idea why would turn it off.

I use all forms of search. What sticks out the Image search has climbed, doubled in fact over the last 5 years.

Interesting about Image Search. Are you seeing that growth in GSC, or in your actual traffic? :)

The naming is still all over the place😄AI Search, AEO, GEO... clients just want to know how to show up there.
