I think its official that GBUY is on the way. Here is the whois for GBUY.eu. It looks like Google might use GBUY.eu for its european face. Guess fbuy.eu and hbuy.eu would be good to own right now.

I'm sure googles fees will be lower, to them its more about branding. Plus they will instantly have tens of millions of users so i'm sure they can rely on making a smaller margin and it being profitable from the start.
