Hey guys...

I got an offer on Sedo for nagel.biz (which is "nail" in German) & was wondering what I should reply back with; the initial offer is pretty lowball, but who knows how much they would be willing to pay if they need it!?

Thanks!! :-D

It's also 'nail' in Dutch.
However, both Germans and the Dutch are, overall, not too keen on .BIZ names.
I'd say this one is about $100 end-user, but then again, if a buyer's name is Nagel, or his/her business name is that, then the name should be able to sell for maybe $xxx max!?

Best of luck, I hope it'll make you a ton! :)

Hallo cyphix,

First of all, .biz domains are not popular here in Germany at all. In addition
the TLD doesn't really fit to the domain's keyword. If Nagel is not the buyer's
name (or his company's one) then the plural version of the domain is better,
which is Nägel (IDN) or Naegel.

Therefore I think you shouldn't sell the domain for less than $150. It's not
worth much more at present though... max. $300 in my opinion.

Good luck with selling it!

Well, those have been better keywords, but I only see two German .biz
domains in the Domain Name Journal's Year-To-Date New TLD Top Sellers
(2005) But your domain isn't worth that much... no way. Low $xxx
really is okay for nagel.biz because of the facts mentioned above. Good
luck with selling it!

I sold a .biz for $500 . Your domain is much better than the one I sold. Aim for $1000. Goodluck.
