A domain you want is dropping so you sit there around the time you know the registry deletes the domains.

You spam a few registrars trying to register the domain for a few hours, get locked out from time to time.

Then, after a few hours, you register the domain - even with the registrar you'd prefer to register it with. :ok::first:

Yeah, I could have paid Pool / NJ $60+ for it but where is the fun in that? :D

Yep, it was worth it, too. Now I hope my company doesn't come down on me for spamming the registrars. :uhoh::lol:

Point the DNS to a parkig comapny (just to test traffic) and confirm the DNS is working - so I know the name is mine.
 
I do that daily. And love snagging names on the drop sometimes I would beat the tasters. But what do you mean locked out and spamming? All I do is enter domains in on a bulk reg and keep reefreshing the page until it is mine.
