The real issue in the markets are the $1/2-1 QUADRILLION in derivatives gambling bets (Credit default swaps are a mere 50-65 trillion of this, add collateralized debt opbligations etc.). The public is just starting to hear about derivatives, and they are going to hear a hell of alot more.
