I won parakeet dot-net in this auction with a bid of $220. Sedo sent me a request for payment, and I paid right away (yesterday).

Today, I received a message from Sedo, saying:

"We regret to inform you that we shall have to cancel this transaction.

Reason for this cancellation: This auction violates our terms and conditions. Please refrain from type of behavior in the future to avoid having your account put under review."

Bizarre! I assumed they meant that the buyer had done something wrong in listing the domain ... but then I saw that they were telling me to "refrain from type of behavior" [sic]. I wrote to ask them what had gone wrong, and what type of behavior I am supposed to refrain from; will let you know what they say.

EDIT: My Sedo account has been closed! No idea why. I have emailed them to find out what's going on.
