Any issues anyone can think of related to a " greatwhite.XXX " domain name. I am interested in this kind of name just want to make sure there are not legal issues surrounding this type of name, like trademark...

The Australian Golfer Greg Norman is known as the "Great White" but don't know if there are any TM issues with that - see http://www.shark.com which is his site.

Great White is also the name of a very popular, label-signed hard rock band. If you do a google search with "great white" and music, you get about 250,000 websites that reference the band.

I don't know if they are a registered trademark of the record label.

'Great White' is registered for several products in the US - including pipe joint compound and automatic pool cleaner in the nature of a vacuum-type unit.

You could even register this as a trademark yourself - for any other type of goods or services.

IANAL - but in my informed opinion, it would be trademark overreach for one of them to take it away from you - if you do not infringe on any specific business.

Basically - UDRP was made that way by WIPO to aid and abet corporations to overreach their trademark.
