For growmarijuana...

It's a great name... the use is obvious, and in my opinion, the .org helps out to justify "medicinal" purposes, wherever applicable.

An enormous and wrongly neglected market, a good portion of which is tech savvy, would have no trouble giving this site lots of visits with the right content.

I would appraise it as-is at $750. The only strike it has against it is the fact that "marijuana" is not the easiest word to spell, thus making your traffic more reliant on search engine results.

Otherwise, filled with how-to's and linked to an affiliate program for supplies, this could be a money machine.

My advice would be to hold onto it. As soon as it becomes legalized, whoever is making postings will run less risk by going into detail.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. It is currently ranking on the first page of Bing, Google and Yahoo for the term "grow marijuana," and has been for some time.


DispensaryJobs dot com also ranking #1 result for dispensary jobs for both Bing and Yahoo.

Nice names. In Colorado they're now officially called 'MMCs' - Medical Marijuana Centers - to get away from the California 'dispensary' image. It's the same thing though, same business model, just a different name / acronym invented by the legislators for licensing, taxing, and regulation purposes since they're allowed to be for-profit businesses here.

With hundreds of dispensaries - oops, MMCs - in Denver alone, I'm sure there's a buyer. But also worth holding onto until after the 2012 legalization vote.

Nice domain, it would be good for a medical site. I think a price tag of $1,000 to $1,500 would be fair enough.

Easily low $xxxx ; I would hold out for a stronger economy (in the US) and also the possible outcome of legalization efforts (mentioned by others)... the .org fits it very well!

I like cannabis domains, but this one is somewhat limited because of the .ORG, but its good if you wanted to focus on a collective/resource portal for growers - links, tips, grow equipment, etc. Otherwise I don't see it getting a real high value from most end users. I think mid to high xxx is doable as a pure directory play to that right buyer though.
